Founder & CEO
He attended the University of San Diego, where he and the Toreros went to the Elite 8 his senior year and won the WCC Title 2 times as a student athlete. The Overland Park, Kansas, native enjoyed a nine-year playing career in Major League Soccer and the USL Championship from 2013-2021, including his first two professional seasons with Sporting KC from 2013-2014 and two separate spells as captain of Sporting KC II in 2016-2017 and 2020-2021. The 2013 MLS Cup champion later led SKC II, formerly the Swope Park Rangers, to consecutive USL Western Conference championships in 2016 and 2017.Prior to retiring as a player, Duke coached at Sporting Blue Valley and assisted at Sporting KC Academy training sessions while taking U.S. Soccer coaching courses. He began his post-playing career in early 2022 when he began offering private soccer training to youth players across Kansas City & San Diego.

Kyle Miller
Coach Kyle Miller was born in the state of California but raised in Overland Park, KS and has been playing the beautiful game since the age of 4. Kyle grew up developing his game in the Sporting Blue Valley soccer association (formerly Blue Valley Stars), while playing for current Sporting Kansas City head coach Peter Vermes. Coach Kyle attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School from 2003-2007 and helped guide STA to 2 consecutive state titles during his time on Varsity. During his time at STA Kyle impressed local soccer powerhouse Rockhurst University and decided to continue his education and soccer development on an athletic scholarship. During his time at Rockhurst University, Kyle started over 80 games for the Hawks and culminated in a breakthrough Senior year by leading the team to an Elite 8 appearance. In 2012 Kyle was selected in the 3rd Round of the MLS Draft by hometown team Sporting Kansas City. Kyle appeared in several games over his two seasons and scored a goal against English Premier League Team Stoke City during his time with Sporting. Coach Kyle then went on to play 2 more seasons as a professional with USL team Oklahoma City Energy and Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL. During Kyle's time as a professional he picked up coaching early on and has experience coaching and training U11-U17 club teams in the Oklahoma City, Atlanta, and Kansas City metro areas. Along with club coaching experience, Kyle has been a leading technical trainer for over 10 years providing professional 1on1 and small group technical sessions for players of all ages and skill levels! Kyle now calls Kansas City, MO home and enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife Heather, watching soccer with friends, and hanging out with his family!

Chris Dean
Born and raised in Scotland Chris came to the States to play College soccer for Columbia College in 1997. During his time there he was award Conference Freshman of the year honors, and won multiple Conference Championships. In 2003 Chris started to call Kansas City home. During his 21 years in Kansas City he has founded and ran multiple Clubs, and has earned the reputation of one of the top Coaches within the region. Chris's commitment to individual development, even within the team setting has been impressive. Over the last 5 years he has helped over 20 players take the next step and join the SKC Academy, and has worked with nearly a dozen players that have earned call ups the the US National Youth team camps and US Youth Futsal National Teams. Chris has a very detailed approach, and has the ability to make sure sessions are relatable, so learning is transferable. He is very big on the thinking part of the game, and challenges players when it comes to decision making during sessions and games. Chris is married to his wife, Marquelle, and has 4 kids, Jack, Liam, Finn and Isla. If he is not running sessions or at games he is probably following his kids around supporting them. Forgot to put that I hold USSF B and USSF Director of Coaching Licenses if that matters. Also a Scouting Diploma from United Soccer Coaches.

Philip ejimadu
Coach Phillip Ejimadu joined the Refine Soccer Training team in 2023 as a Technical Trainer. Coach Phillip was born in Minneapolis, MN, he moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil as a youth to join the development academy of Nacional Atlético Clube. He returned to the United States in 2019 when he signed with MLS side Los Angeles FC. He later had stops in the USL Championship, USL League One and MLS NEXT Pro. Coach Phillip is currently a Goalkeeper for the Missouri Comets professional indoor team here in Kansas City. His coaching journey started in 2023 and he is currently an assistant coach for Baker University and Park Hill High School.

Miles weidel
Coach Miles Weidel joined the Refine Soccer Training Team in 2022 as a Technical Trainer. Coach Miles grew up in the Kansas City area and has been involved in the soccer community for most of his life. As a club player, Miles played with Kansas City Football Club and Kansas City Soccer Club. Miles was also a varsity letterman, playing 4 years at Rockhurst High School in KC. After high school, Miles went on to play soccer at Blue River Community College. He began his coaching journey in early 2020 and is passionate about growing the game in his hometown. He is currently a team coach and Goalkeeping Director for Fountain City FC. In addition, he is a goalkeeper coach with Kansas ODP.

Michael Lenis
Coach Mikey Lenis joined the Refine Soccer Training team in 2023 as a Technical Trainer. Coach Mikey was born in Weston, Florida and developed in the Weston FC Development Academy before moving to Kansas City in 2017 to join Sporting Kansas City's youth academy. Coach Mikey played 4 seasons with Sporting KC II in the USL Championship and MLS Next Pro Leagues before joining the Missouri Comets professional indoor team as a midfielder. He has also received call-ups to training camp with the United States Youth National Teams.

Kaira Houser
Coach Kaira Houser joined the Refine Soccer Training team in early 2022 as a Technical Trainer. Coach Kaira was born in Emporia, KS and grew up in Topeka, KS where she excelled on the soccer field at Washburn Rural High School and eventually earned a soccer scholarship to Creighton University. Coach Kaira lettered 4 years at Creighton and spent the 2018 Spring season studying abroad and playing in Ecuador. She has played with professional club teams in Israel and Ecuador and is currently a member of the Ecuador National Team. Coach Kaira currently works for US Soccer at the National Development Center in Kansas City and loves travelling all over the world (especially to play soccer), a competitive game of pickleball, and baking.

Kevin komodi
Coach Kevin Komodi joined the Refine Soccer Training Team in 2024 as a Technical Trainer. Coach Kevin was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary where he brings a variety of national club soccer experience. Was a five-year member of the Puskas Akademy Felcsút team, which is a football club based in Felcsút, Hungary, that competes in the top flight of Hungarian football. Helped the team win the championship in three age levels (U-17/U-18/U-19). His father was a professional soccer player and now is a coach. Coach Kevin went on to play two seasons at UMKC and finished his collegiate career playing at Saint Louis University.
